Location of properties of Spain based on address identifiers, for example, the name of the thoroughfare or the real estate number. The data model of the Directorate General for Cadastre (DGC) provides the addresses as information associated with the real estate. The real estate are complex elements (for example an apartment + common areas + parking) and does not have a defined own geometry; therefore are not georeferenced. A real estate relates to a Cadastral Parcel in which is included, that it has geometry and it is georeferenced, so we can georreference addresses that we get from the attributes of the real estate to the centroid of the cadastral parcel that contains it. Each Cadastral Parcel may contain as attribute, one or more addresses. In addition each of the addresses can have subaddresses, for example for each one of the apartments and premises of the building, but these are not associated geographically to each element of the construction. The Addresses INSPIRE dataset contains the official data of the DGC transformed directly to the data model defined by the INSPIRE directive, the dataset is complete including urban and rural areas for 95% of the territory under the responsibility of the DGC, (except the Basque country and Navarre). According to the specifications of INSPIRE for the theme of addresses INSPIRE Data Specification on Addresses – Technical Guidelines 3.1. ( https://inspire.ec.europa.eu/Themes/79/289 2)

Statement

Addresses of the authoritative Cadastral data validated and quality assured by the conditions defined by the Spanish Directorate General for Cadastre (SDGC). Addresses are related to cadastral parcel. Each cadastral parcel contains as attribute one or more addresses. Address data is completed for all urban and rural areas for the 95% of the Spanish territory under the responsibility of SDGC. Addresses are georeferenced, when it is possible, to the entrance of the building and in other cases to the centroid of the cadastral parcel. Continuously updated. Transformed in its whole to INSPIRE AD model; populating Address, ThoroughfareName, PostalDescriptor and AdminUnitName features.

Description

Addresses are obtained from the attribute _address_ of each cadastral parcel. In order to obtain the geographical position of the address, a spatial analysis is performed to determine, when it is possible, the location of the entrance of the building. If that is not possible, the reference point of the address is the cadastral parcel centroid. In origin, digital cartography of rural land 1: 5000, addresses included, was generated municipally by municipally in the process of cadastral renovation, from orthophotography (1/5.000- expanded1/ 2.500), upon which rural parcel boundaries were projected. Orthophotographs were at the beginning on paper and since last ninety_s also available in digital format. Process: 1. Generation of orthophotos, 2. Fieldwork, to identify the property, re-dyed on the orthophoto and later on digitalization and edition in office to incorporate the cadastral parcelary, 3. Semantic Treatment: codification, alteration and assignment of cadastral References and labels. In origin digital urban cartography 1:1000, addresses included, was generated at the municipal level from the digitalization of existing cadastral cartography following verification of its quality, or using new cartography generated by a process of analytical restitution of apparent parcelary entities obtained in stereographical flights upon which the cadastral parcelary data is placed, identified and updated. Process:1. Photogrametrical numerical restitution to obtain an apparent parcelary; 2. "Fieldwork and later edition in office to incorporate the property parcelary"; 3. "Semantic Treatment: codification, alteration and assignment of cadastral References and labels"From then (90´) data is continuously maintain using field work and other technologies.Transformation to INSPIRE by own developed process of SDGC.

Description

>Digital authoritative cartography of the Spanish Directorate General for Cadastre, created in origin by means of numeric restitution from a photogrammetric flight, by digitalizing graphic documents existing at the Cadastre, or by field topographic work following the quality rules established by cadastral law. From then, continuous updated using field topographic works and other technologies. Transformed to the INSPIRE model by own developed process.
